“Can feel the energy from the off, like a wild uncaged animal in fact which makes sense given the narrative. I was reminded of Lori Anderson here, performance art where the spoken word aspect is only half the offering. The other 50% comes in the bouncy soundtrack here, full of nature’s wonder and obviously inspired from a thousand stares out across the rural domain. There is a standoffish nature at first but the warmth is palpable before too long. So very different but I did find it inspiring despite not knowing how an indie head like mine could deal with it. There’s beauty in them thar hills.” mp3hugger
